TALKING BUSINESS | How to Know if Network Marketing is for You

This is a great question to be asking - it show's you're open-minded about the ways in which network marketing has changed over the years; how it could potentially give you the income, community, or life you want; and it shows you're not about to jump into something you might not be very suited to. Congratulations for considering the potential of all of these things and doing your due diligence. 

Are You?

- hungry for more in your life: be that time, financial, travel freedom and more
- believe you should be paid what you are worth
- know that you are responsible for the results in your life
- a self-starter who can work independently and is willing to follow-through on the DO
- coachable by those who are doing it and are where you want to be
- likeable, relatable and friendly (aka: not a weirdo sales pusher!)
- positive, happy, grateful and a spreader of good vibes

Are You Willing to...

- learn about the industry and become a professional
- work in collaboration with other people, most whom you have directly chosen to work with, but sometimes also with those who you didn't and may be quite different to you
- DO THE WORK and know that what you put in is what you will get out - that there is no get-rich-quick and no cheating your way to the top
- help others to succeed whilst also practising what you preach because you know that you are not successful until you help others to become successful
- vow to elevate the industry by acting with poise and integrity
- treat you business like a job, career or multi-million dollar business - respect it and it will respect you

Your Next Steps

  1. Get clear on your goals and motivations.
  2. Do your due diligence on the company you are looking at. Look at their history, ethics, systems and people, not just their compensation plan. And don't just take Google's word for it, you may need to ask someone within that company for more information and this might help you find the right sponsor for you.
  3. Seek out a great sponsor or coach who's willing to give you more information, take the time to get to know your goals and support you in getting started. (This is necessarily the person with the biggest team or most popularity, but someone who you would truly like to work alongside of. More about that here)
  4. Study the industry and learn to become professional through books, audios and events. 
  5. Study the business model and company and dive into activity - learn while you earn and keep your head and heart true to you as you do. Inject your own best personality into all you do and determine the type of people you want to attract and build amazing businesses with!
