Being spiritually fit is a big and beautiful part of my life and helps build resilience, patience, confidence and cultivates calm and creativity. I use my spiritual practice and a variety of tools for my mental health, inner and outer health as well as leadership, so I've learned to integrate it into my essential daily method of operation. And I love it! So if you're feeling low or feeling well, going for a goal, wanting to connect back in with yourself, find or know yourself so you can find and know others, my hope is that this compilation of soul searching supplies helps you do just that...with bliss!
INSIDE OUT HEALTH
Walking daily soaking in the blue sky with a soul-speaking Audible book in my ears is one of my favourite ways to stretch the desk legs and switch my mind to expansion mode rather than the distraction mode it lives in 80% of the day thanks to the nature of my social businesses. Some fascinating reads I've absorbed lately include Becoming Supernatural by Dispenza, Ask and It Is Given by Ester and Jerry Hicks, Witch and Love Your Lady Landscape both by Lister Lister, and in paper form, I'm pouring over Moonology by Yasmin Boland.
“Feeling good equals allowing the connection; feeling bad equals not allowing the connection —feeling bad equals resisting the connection to your Source.”
To honour my temple and keep my third eye open, I'm choosing greens over cheese, have cut way back on wine time, take a greens, multivitamin and ACV booster shot each day, as well as a mind health drink, omega 3 and other plant based supplements for optimal health. My digestion has improved, my hair, skin and nails are happier than ever, and I speak loving kindness over my everything I ingest and over the beautiful vessel that is my body.
Stay with me. A bath can be a ritual because it's a regular occurrence and done as a cleansing or detoxing type of experience. Essentially, that's what all forms of bathing are and always have been, but they can be made all the more special, soothing and yes, totally healing, with a few added steps.
I love baths and if I could have one diva demand for the rest of my life it would be that every home I live in from here on out has a bath. After a big day or at the start of a self care session, scorching hot or luke warm, bubbly, salty or still, baths can be super relaxing and restoring.
I light candles - always - add good old not-so-basic Epsom Salts (magnesium) if I want to wash away bad energies (mine or those I've empathically picked up throughout the day); apple cider vinegar for a deep detoxifier, albeit a little stinky; or my favourite turmeric, lavender and citrus extract bath salts. Lay there in silence for 15-30 minutes or enforce peace with noise cancelling headphones and a guided meditation. Focus on 100 deep belly breaths where you feel your stomach and lungs expand and contract fully and use a sponge to imagine everything you need to let go washing off you in downward strokes.
To save water (please do this wherever you are, not just in Australia!) I empty as much water onto non edible plants as possible and then as you watch what's left gurgle down the plug hole, affirm that all that was weighing you down is now gone and you are cleansed and clear to move powerfully forward.
SETTING THE SCENE WITH SCENT & SOUND
Not just a sucker for a gorgeous candle, scents in general play an important part in my spiritual daily routine and are easy to execute (almost) anywhere. A quick spritz of chakra balancing mist, a little roll of essential oils on my neck (or stomach, or temples, wrist depending on the need), or burning incense or sage for cleaning, clearing, resetting or meditation all play a part.
Add Rebecca Campell's Rise Sister Rise Playlist or Native American Flute Music to mix and I'm transported. Music, and sometimes the silence of simply having my headphones in, helps me concentrate when I'm working or disconnect when I'm not. Finding the sounds and scents that activate and affect you for various moods is a fun process and one well worth investigating!
CRYSTAL COLLECTION APPRECIATION & APPLICATION
I cleanse them with water, thought blessings and the light of the full moon, and I really don't get too hung up on what is technically right or wrong, just what feels right for me at the time. Some of my favourite pieces were given to me or chosen by me during times that felt the hardest but were actually major leveling up moments in my life.
If you're wanting to harness the magical and beautiful gifts of the earth in an easy and non-threatening way, get thee to your nearest gemstone dealer, pick a piece that speaks to you, and simply pray with it each day.
Same goes with tarot, angel and oracle cards...go with the flow and use them when and how you best feel called to. I have the Starchild tarot, Work Your Light oracle deck, Ask an Angel, and the new Starseed oracle cards and use them interchangeably as I feel fit. And I don't obsess, I simply use them when I need a little more of a nudge to trust my own quiet guidance.
Remember, they are the tools, you are the truth. Stay in your power and you will find health, healing and happiness in collaboration with your soul supplies, rather than relying on a clutch.
DOING MY PART IN THE PRACTICE
Arguably the most important part of my spiritual practice is that that I must actively do - the mediation, affirmations, journaling, and creation of my artworks and life's work. I feel centered, calm, clear, and charged when I meditate in the morning, affirm throughout the day, journal at night and get stuff done.
I have designed my life to align with my values and allow me to pursue my passions. The art of play to make beautiful and doing the work of coaching, inspiring and leading others sparks joy and makes me feel alive, so I do more of that wherever I can. When I do, opportunities abound, miracles make known, the universe has my back and I attract the high vibe tribe I need and desire.
This all starts with my part in the practice...and it's the practice that makes it possible. I get that it might seem like a lot to introduce at once - so don't. Start where you are, with what you have and a heart-led vision of who you are becoming.
“You create a path of your own by looking within yourself and listening to your soul, cultivating your own ways of experiencing the sacred and then practicing it. Practicing until you make it a song that sings you.”

So turns out I drink A LOT! Here's everything I drink in a day, why, how to mix them up, and what they taste like.
I get added multivitamins, minerals, nutrients, energy, fibre and more through these toxin-free Arbonne supplements, all whilst alkalising, boosting energy and focus and staying hydrated.
And side note, this doesn't actually change that much when I travel because they're all travel friendly, but I do add in a 7 Day Body Cleanse drink after I get back from holidays which works a treat to de-bloat. Hope this is helpful. All products listed below if you want to check them out in more detail.
Get your greens daily in one shot sensation! This is my favourite blend of 32 fruits and vegetable concentrates with vegan vitamin and minerals, and a touch of bacteria-busting apple cider vinegar. 7 Step Spa De-Stress Session
There must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure,
I was recently really sick with a gross virus that left me bedridden for five days with headaches, coughing, a running nose, raspy throat, and the worst - nausea. But I learnt a few things helped me a LOT. And I know, you'll just about do anything when you feel like awful to feel better (and be way more grateful for it!), so tab this one as the seasons change.... just. in.case.
ARBONNE HYDRATION DRINK - If, like me, you're vomiting and coughing and generally extremely dehydrated, these little sachets are the bomb.I notice a reduced severity in headaches within minutes of drinking one and because it tastes so nice I also feel half human again. Big tick.
SOUP FOR THE SOUL
MISO SOUP - Can you believe I've only just discovered this stuff (thanks Cheryl)! It is heaven-sent in getting food in your belly and the comforting warmth might just put you off to sleep again. Yes to all those fermented micro-organisms doing their thang!
ARBONNE GREENS CONCENTRATE - I rarely stray from having my breakfast smoothies (going halvies with Ben when I was sick though) and packing them full of greens, fruits, pro-biotics, and super foods. It got something gentle in my tummy but also gave me a glimmer of vitality. Fight those germs you good greens!
GET YOUR GREENS
BROCCOLI, SNOW PEAS & BRUSSEL SPROUTS - When I was sick I woke up craving this combo so yay for full food and yay for it's simple deliciousness. With a bit of coconut oil and pepper too. Better than vegemite on toast guys 😉
GO SCREEN FREE
And finally, STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA - It's headache inducing enough to stare at a tiny screen for any length of time, let alone, scroll, try to read off it, or try to think of something to write. If reading this is about the extent of today's activities then be totally OK with that. Even Beyonce takes a day off sista!
Annnnnd I'm using this wonderful meditation to remind myself of all that.
Even if you are well, have a listen, maybe several times over....I love it!
+ GRATITUDE MEDITATION EXERCISE
PS. I know it's easy to beat yourself up because you got sick and you 'don't have time for that.' But whatever you missed (well almost anything) can be caught up on, done later, handled by someone else, or if you're inclined to think like me...you just weren't meant to be there. It's probs not a wise move to own the sickness and keeping it around longer than it needs to be here by acting the patient or getting all woe is me. AKA bungin it on. Legit term.
Instead, try to understand where the dis-ease in your mind and body started, and work to heal it and recognize it's patterns so you can tend to it sooner when next you feel it coming. That means listening to your mind and body, heaping does's of self care - and yes - sticking to a healthy living routine as much as possible...because you know how good you feel when you really do look after yourself and tune in. And don't we all wanna feel that way all the time?

Below, let's take a look at a five wellness resolutions that do require a little work, but are well worth keeping for their ongoing life-loving benefits.
“For a change, don't add new things in your life as a new year's resolution. Instead, do more of what's already working for you and stop doing things that are a time-waste.”
1. SWAP & SCHEDULE FOOD & MOVEMENT
Now is as good time as any to look at our lifestyle and see what aspects of it are having a negative impact on our health. Especially after what might have been another year of the Christmas 'silly-season' binge-guilt-binge a little more cycle. It doesn't have to be like that, and with people catching on to the idea that you can still have fun without making yourself sick, there's a new level of respect for you to buck that trend.
Limiting vices or rather, swapping them out for healthier alternatives gives you a better chance to keep your diet clean, lean and green as much as possible, and so it becomes a lifestyle rather than a once and done or yo-yo kinda gig. Embrace learning new and exciting recipes or places to shop, finding the best raw dark chocolate or acai bowl ever. Make a pact with friends with the same goals and instead of meeting for wines, meet for walk and talks or cooking classes.
The reason why people join a gym at the beginning of the year but then stop going after a couple of visits is because they've failed to see the benefits. Even if you've only gone twice, they're still there!
Allow yourself to be a beginner at any exercise you wish to pursue
Schedule your exercise times and keep it fun if that's what keeps you doing it! By the end of the month, you’ll start to see (let alone feel) the effects of your efforts, and then put no end date ever on keeping your body in movement. Know that this part of your routine is developing and you're simply doing what feels best!
2. GET A FULL BODY HEALTH CHECK-UP
Do what's needed to support every other goal you'll ever set in your life by doing what's needed to stay optimally alive! And do it with a sense of gratitude, because trust me, you'll learn so much about yourself and you'll forever set your goals differently.
3. SWITCH TO CLEANER BEAUTY
If you've been living in denial about unnecessary and toxic fillers and poisons in your beauty routine it's only to get harder to ignore as it becomes a bigger trend - and in some cases - the law.
Decide to do a drawer detox and toss out of date products, use up half-empty bottles, and be enthusiastic about finding cleaner, safer skincare, hair care, body care and makeup alternatives to your favourites. They exist and they're better than you think. Oh, and wash your brushes, girl!
4. STAND TALL & OWN YOUR SPACE
If you turn a few heads and get a few admiring glances, just know that you are seen in this world rather than assuming critical judgement. Everyone is judging everyone but that's none of your business.
Let your thoughts only entertain good, your body assume poise, ease, sassiness or sexiness, and your energy reflect the warmth and vibrancy of who you intrinsically are.
5. INVEST IN YOUR SELF DEVELOPMENT
Finally, remember that there’s no substitute for a positive attitude! It’s something that people are naturally attracted to. Be a force of good vibes, and your spirit will elevate how people view you - and how you view yourself.
Work on your personal arsenal of tools to cope, grow through challenges, handle emotions, be out of balance at times, as well as be humbly successful at achieving all of your wildest dreams. Invest quiet time often to become self-aware, strengthening your resilience and bounce-back-ability to become a robust whole human happy in oneself.
Use personal development books, courses, like-minded tribes and affirmations to stay well, avoid comparison and sustainably keep and meet all your worthwhile goals and resolutions.
How are you resolving to be well from this moment forward?
And share how you're keeping them in the comments below.
Here's to your whole health and lasting goals!

Spend the day alone, smiling and laughing at yourself and the thoughts that come up, and have fun in your own company. You will come back feeling so much happier, and knowing you'll be just fine to do it again.
2. TRAVEL SOLO
Sometimes the only way to truly learn about who you are is to take yourself away from your comfort zone and try something completely new. If you want to get away from the noise of the rest of the world for a while, book yourself a trip to somewhere you know you can relax. It will be the ideal opportunity to explore (both yourself and the environment), enjoy the fresh air and really start to appreciate who you are. Anyone who has traveled solo will likely tell you just how much you can learn and love about yourself in doing so, and how proud they are that they did it!
3. FORGIVE YOURSELF
One of the main things which will often hang over our heads is the mistakes we have made throughout our lives. If you feel as if all you ever do is make mistakes and you blame yourself for everything, a change of perspective can set you free. At the end of the day, everyone in the world makes mistakes, and these mistakes and experiences form part of who we are. You wouldn’t be who you are without these experiences, and you need to learn to take them with you and let them make you a stronger person. Try repeating the mantra 'I love and forgive myself and I move forward powerfully' each time the feelings of shame or guilt of your mistakes creeps in.
5. WRITE IT DOWN
Journaling is an incredibly effective way to let out your emotions and express how you are feeling. It is a sort of therapy which can calm the soul and allow you to really take stock of your day and any issues or questions you might have coming up time and time again. If you are stressed and worried about people or circumstances in life, free writing in a journal can be a way to cope and a way to open up without talking to people about it right away. Allow yourself time each day to give this kindness and release to yourself and see how it transforms your thoughts, decision making and confidence.
6. STOP COMPARING YOURSELF
Comparing yourself to other people is so often a toxic behaviour that breeds envy and a feeling of inadequacy. If you constantly look at images or the lives of other people and compare yourself to then, it can spiral a chain of thoughts about anything from losing weight, buying things you don't really need or afford, or other extreme moves. It's an unhealthy way to live when you are trying to be someone that you are not, and distracts you from doing what you truly love that often results in loving yourself for you and achieving your own version of success. Stop the extreme comparisons and start focusing on the things you love about yourself, doing more of those to the best of your ability in ways that make you happy. And remember that whether you know it or not, there's probably someone looking at you, wishing they were more like you, and admiring your true you!
7. SAY NO TO OTHERS
Far too many of us spend our lives trying to please everyone else without a second thought to our own well-being. If you truly want to be happy and you want to love yourself as a person you need to start putting yourself first. If people try to take up all of your time for their needs, you have to learn how to say no once in a while, or at least make compromises that they will help you out with something too. You can be a kind and compassionate person without giving up your sense of self and need for self love. You cannot give from an empty tank - so give to yourself first using the methods discussed here and you may find you have more to give to right people, causes or concerns. And never let anyone stop you from pursuing your dreams.
8. ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Do you have a tendency to be harder on yourself than anyone else? Do you believe you aren’t good enough to find love/achieve your goal/do that amazing thing? To stop this behaviour right now, start to think about your accomplishments and the things you have done well. What have you done which you are proud of?Have you sung in front of an audience? Got an award? Tried something crazy? Been a terrific friend? Any of these things can make you feel strong, brave and worthy of your own love. Note them in your phone whenever you think of them and refer back to them when feelings of unworthiness try to shake you or stop you.
9. MAKE A VISION BOARD
If you want to motivate yourself towards something great, you can create what’s called a vision board of collaged images of places you want to travel, things you want to do, and how you want to feel etc. Hang it somewhere that you will see every single day as a great motivator for you to get off your butt and do something towards your goals. And whenever you glimpse a goal on that board do a little happy dance, give yourself a high five or click your fingers to ignite the emotion of you already having achieved those things. You can also use your vision board powerfully in meditations and keep a screen shot on your phone for an on-the-go reminder of your best life!
“When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.”
10. DO THAT CLASS, COURSE OR CRAFT
Taking up a class, course, or craft that you've always wanted to do can give you fresh inspiration for self loving, life loving, new friends, and new inspiration. Find a hobby or pursuit that you love to practice every week, or take this opportunity to try a new one that challenges you. Things such as trampolining, hiking, painting, yoga or baking can be great hobbies to try with others that will also allow you to spend time with yourself and learn new things about your skills and loves. Jump online and find out what's on offer in your area, and give something a go with gusto!
